Code Orange

Our Mission

Code Orange Team 3476 is a pre-college robotics team located in the heart of Orange County's high-tech hub. Our mission is to promote interest and knowledge of STEM. Our students receive hands-on engineering education and training in STEM by designing and building robots to compete at the regional and international level of the First Robotics Competition (FRC).

Our dedicated and highly skilled mentors guide our students with little or no prior robotics experience to become excellent engineers in their own right. Our students build lifelong friendships and have so much fun that they don't even realize how much they're learning every day!

The experiences and relationships gained through participation in Code Orange have dramatically changed the lives and career choices of many young people over the years.

We Make Winners

Our students learn how to become winners in life by working hard to excel in engineering, leadership, and team building. The robots they design and build are winners too. Out of thousands of FRC teams, Code Orange is one of only 15 teams (and the youngest team) in FRC history to win 5 or more division championships and we're going for more.

All Are Welcome

We welcome everyone to join our diverse team. Code Orange is a community-based team where kids from many public, private, and home schools work together with no rivalry in pursuing the common focus of STEM, primarily through our participation in FIRST programs. This shared focus is vital to the past success and future of Code Orange.

The reputation of Code Orange is based on our track record of excellence and our practice of gracious professionalism. We respect each other's differences while working together harmoniously on Code Orange's prime mission of STEM through FIRST. Code Orange does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation or political beliefs.
